This is a story lots of folks around here are talking about. The kid brought home a bad grade in math and his mother made him execute his pet rat. No doubt a good Republican mom BUT do you think that this method of discipline is OK? What if it was a dog or cat as opposed to a rat? Should the government get involved? After all it is a private family matter.
This OP has serious issues and needs help. He is so blinded by his rage and hate that he will probably end up doing something violent in the near future. Hopefully he gets some help soon because he really needs it. The posts used to just be silly, but they have started going over the top lately.
Possible the kid may kill his 'mother'----------never mind she is a sociopath and deserves to be punished by the legal system.
A republican mom? Are you just hateful of all conservatives?
No child should ever be forced to kill ANYTHING, let alone a pet. That is great way to screw up a kid.
Should the government get involved? Of course not. Are you kidding? The feds should stay the hell out of our homes. God knows they have thier fingers in everything else.
I am no fan of big government; that stated, this situation is probable cause for CPS to get involved. Typically; where there is smoke, there is fire----------read that she probably committed other acts in the past which would bear scrutiny by LE.

I was talking about the OP, not the kid in this article. However, the kid is probably screwed as well having a psycho mom like that raising him. She definitely needs to be taken out before she can spit out another one.
Where was there any suggestion of torturing animals in this article or by tkramer?
He sees nothing wrong with it in "certain situations" tells me enough.
