Last weekend I visited two, and I bought three books, white sage, some gemstones, and a gift for my son's girlfriend, who is a witch.
I was looking for one item that I have never heard of, that I needed for a spell. No one, in the stores or people I asked afterwards, has heard of it, or knows where to get it - VITEX.
This particular spell really resonated for me.

From time to time, I get tempted into buying occult artifacts, some of which are not necessary for my practice. But some are so appealing that it's difficult to resist the temptation.
For example, just the other day in the shop I noticed a wonderful crystal ball. What I found so appealing about that crystal ball is that it was being held by a sculpted hand that was very gnarled --"gnarled" meaning very aged-looking to the point that it looks like 90 or even 100 years old. So you could say that the gnarled hand adds a sort of dignity to the crystal.
At the same time that the gnarled hand attracts me, what also repulses me was a snake coiled around the base. So I have mixed emotions. Maybe you folks could help me decide. The problem is I also practice minimalism so that clashes with my taste for occult goodies. Also, have any of you been in a similar situation where you were tempted and had second thoughts?
