White Plains, Northern Yonkers, New Rochelle- Nyack and Port Chester (not tech cities but fairly densely populated and rather safe. also Mt Vernon by Fleetwood is nice.
many parts of the city are safe, parts of brooklyn, and staten island for example. the bayshore of nj is the area along raritan bay, like keansberg, union beach, south amboy and atlantic highlands.
I lived in Highlands and had cousins in Keansburg. Never once in my 63 years of life did I ever hear that area referred to as "Bayshore, NJ". Well, until now.
