So the news who quoted the numbers of stores closing a location directly because of crime is fake news ? Or do we pick and choose which statistics we want to believe ?

I love it when they drop the mask. So condescending and insulting.

Well the video in the OPs link shows signs of "closed stores" redirecting to their online stores -- in other words, closing due to rent high rents, and due to online shopping being a much bigger thing now than it was just a few years ago.
Strip/shopping malls as a whole are a thing of the past, everywhere.

^In the same video it says x amount of stores report closing a location directly due to crime.

I agree online shopping is hurting stores but if stores are saying they are closing locations directly do to crime why dismiss it totally ?

I've never had anything like that happen to me in all the times I've ordered from Amazon, but I understand where you're coming from. However, I tend to order from the company's Amazon store itself and not a third-party seller.

When's the last time you went to a movie theater?

His point? What, that people aren't going to the movies because of the outrageous movie prices and because everyone now has a large TV, soundbar, and streaming services?
There is little reason to go to the movie theater anymore. It's a fun hangout for teenagers, and that's about it.
