That is certainly true, Aeran. but not everyone can brush it away. Worry is hard wired into us by evolution, obviously as a protective, albeit uncomfortable, way of getting through unpleasantness.
Perhaps it helps us see things to avoid in time to avoid them?

If I could live on $1/slice pizza or $2/8 dumplings as you do routinely, I could stop working for the rest of my 399 years...

not so sure about that, but the white house will likely be renamed or known as the black house going forward because Adams will fill it with his black sis and bros...

I hate to say this and jinx myself but my fear is getting hit by a car while in a crosswalk

Sometimes I'm in an industrial area for work, and the drivers around there don't even stop at stop signs -- like they barely slow down.

I'm also a driver sometimes so it's not like I only have the perspective of a pedestrian. It's just when I drive I stop at stop signs unlike these crazy drivers.
