It means nothing, most of these folks are giving fake info. We know these people don't carry IDs, they have nothing to lose when caught.

I think it's a waste of time and police resources to make these arrests. Change the entry turnstile and just guard the gate.

What do you mean has no relation? There’s clearly a common thread to fare evasion in NYC and it explains why the problem has been allowed to get as out of hand as it has.

That's in a 9 month period. I see as many people hop the turn style or go through the door at one time being at the station as tickets were given out in 9 months.
