That's fantastic. I wish my neighborhood would come together. Shoot I'd settle even for my building.
Exactly. Did you hear about the incident where this teenager got robbed in his own bldg's laundry room. It's on camera and everything but of course with the whole mask thing, good luck identifying them. Brazen and scary. When I'm doing laundry at my mom's place, there are times when I'm all alone in there and it has crossed my mind that someone could really mug me there if they wanted to.

No I haven't. I did a google search but didn't see the story. Where did this happen?
I know people in my building are now doing laundry during day light hours ever since it was broken into.

In the Bronx! It was all over NY1 yesterday. In the video, you can see two guys approach the teen sitting down on a bench waiting for his laundry and they rob him of his smart phone and some cash, I think.
Oh, I was mistaken. It wasn't in his bldg. It was in a laundromat in the Bronx. Thought they'd be safer. Aren't there employees & staff in those places?

Another laundry mat in the Bronx someone walked in went behind the counter and grabbed several hundred dollars and left.
Jeesh. The ones in Queens have staff & someone behind the register. Doubt someone can just waltz in and grab cash or mug customers but who knows... I just assumed they're safe places.
Geeze man...all these crimes happening in my neck of the woods.
