The Humane Society of the United States was onsite with rescuers and veterinarians. I usually prefer to donate to local organizations, but I think only a group with the resources of HSUS could have carried this out. So I sent them a donation to help cover what will surely be a lot of veterinarian care. They have a 97% rating on Charity Navigator.

I always did and still believe the dogs were purposely bred and changed by DNA or cloning the most vicious to make them more vicious than the last one.
I wish those people could be put in a pit with the dogs they deliberately bred to be more vicious and see how it feels to be attacked by one. Then put through the horrendous treatment those dogs were forced to be subjected to.
They should be put in prison for life without any chance of parole, period.
How the hell did they get away with this for so long.

That's a good question. From what I read, there were complaints about dogfighting going on there since December 2021. I realize that a thorough investigation takes time, but over 2 years seems like a long time. Those poor dogs went through a lot of torture in those 2 years. There had also been some horribly injured dogs found in Vineland a couple years ago, and it was clear they had been used in dogfighting. I wonder if these sickos dumped the dogs there, or if it was yet another dogfighting ring. Those dogs were cared-for by South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, although I believe one of them died due to the extent of its injuries. Makes me wish there was a special place in Hades reserved for these sickos.

The time they were spending on investigating they could have placed hidden cameras to speed up the process of getting proof. That would have helped cut down on time. They also would have every person involved on video had this been done sooner. Getting in close contact to the owners helps to find out if there are outside members they would normally never find proof of.
I hope they are thrown in a lake of fire like lava if at all possible.

Reason: can't rep you twice
just one question: what plans does the humane society have for these dogs? the thought of actually rehoming them is frightening.
