The upcoming sequel to the 2019 Joker (one of my all time favorite comic book based movies).

I think it's supposed to be like a musical, which I'm not thrilled about, but since Joaquin Phoenix is reprising his role, definitely a must see.

I liked the first one. Didn't love it. Didn't go ga-ga (wink wink) over it like everyone else seemed to. But I did enjoy and would certainly much rather have more superhero movies like this rather than the CGI-laden punchfests.

Sequel looks good, based on the trailer.

I couldn't agree more. This is a comic book character for grown-ups.

I liked the first one but I have no interest in a musical. Musicals usually appeal to women but otherwise this doesn't seem to be a movie women would be drawn to so I don't know who their target audience is here.

That's ^^^^ funny.

First, I'm a woman and I don't like superheros or comic books much, but I am a big fan of the Joker movie. I do know the backstory and I'm also a fan of Joaquin Phoenix, who acted his heart out in Joker. So, based on how much more I liked that movie than I thought I would, I'm willing to go along with whatever in Joker 2 because it all depends on how they use the music. Oh, just BTW, I HATE musicals.

I pretty much could have written this.

I really liked the first one, that Joaquin was fantastic in it. I just don't know about Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. She is very talented and I thought she was good in A Star is Born. But she just doesn't seem like a great fit for Harley Quinn, especially after seeing Margot Robbie play that role twice. I'll absolutely still see the movie though.

I was really looking forward to seeing this—the trailers I’ve seen so far look fantastic. But a musical? OMG, no! I may not see it for that reason alone.
