It is possible to make a smart action/thriller, but it seems to be a bit of a lost art these days. The rare ones that do come along all seem to star Liam Neeson.

watch snatch.

he was.

I noticed something unfold in the movie...the STORY, is actually based on reality. The Jemma redgrave/offspring team are quite recognizable. I thot this was glaring so after the flick I did a quick google and yep, me and the entire beekeeper watching population made the connection.

It was actually easier than realizing 'cloverfield' was a remake/steal of 'miracle mile'

Movie was good, $20 good on pay per view?.............ehhh

If they saw the name of the movie in the movie that is a bad sign (movie will suck), they used Beekeeper way way way too much. Too many 6 on 1 fight scenes and of course Jason beats them all. Thousands of rounds fired throughout the movie by navy seal types yet again Jason gets grazed once.

Snatch is a good movie to watch, if you want to see, how Statham changed his image. In snatch, his character is vague nothing, really.
Actor progressed quite a bit, from that to a major presence in action movies.

ok now that I have more time, and only including the ones I saw

ghosts of mars (altho that was Henstridges flick), the transporters 1 and 2, revolver, parker, wild car, crank 1, didnt like 2, iti job, mechanic and the meg. now keep in mind, I am NOT expending a 'sad clown of life' performance. I am expecting bums to be beat. And beat they are and he pulls it off more so than a van damme movie (like I just watched hard target again last night more so for Yancy Bulter and I did not remember his fight scenes sucking so much...)

I loved Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. I also enjoyed it more than I enjoyed Snatch, though I liked both of them.
