For all the raking over the coals one might do, just another Endangered Species, I come in Peace, Alienator, a cheap rip off of Terminator 2 (can't, it predates that movie).......it really is rather good. It has a nice balance of trucks battling it out and emotional touch. Toward the last 3rd of the flick, after the emotional attachment is in place, I found myself quite entwined with the flick.
If one goes into it with the expectations of today trying to get into a movie that is a generation old, they are probably not going to enjoy it. But for me, it was a nice 90 minute get away, a nice way to re enter the world of reality. Say a 7.6.

Actually, it's bad. Not rather bad but astonishingly bad.
It's the equivalent of a high school AV Club project that got a very generous C- grade.
Made during WWII, so it is not politically correct at all. As historical war flick, one knows that what hopes they have are doomed.
I bought this movie back in 2012 during a war movie buying spree, probably with advise I got here on City-Data. It's enjoyable but it is no Zulu.
Sunday is my Men & Women of Steel movie day and in our current era, picking a Western might have been a better choice, the depression of this flick played on the nerves a slight bit........but that's fate!
We just watched Uncle Drew. I belieeeve I had it in the Netflix queue because someone here on CD had mentioned it. For the goofy type of movie it is, with a very familiar theme (underdog making a comeback), it was really fun yet very heartfelt. Funny Shaq. Cheered us up in these stressful times.
