Wood is part of a short carbon cycle. Shouldn’t affect the level of CO2 in the atmosphere much unless they’re burning wood from old growth virgin forests. Not a fan of this nanny state garbage
I guess barbecue cook offs are not popular in Montreal.
Not sure what you mean by "cook-offs" but personal barbecuing and barbecue restaurants are quite popular here. It's nothing like in the Southern US, mind you.
Ironically she said she opted for gas-fired cooking which also might be on the chopping block sooner than we think.
A suburb on the south shore of Montreal (Mont-St-Hilaire) recently announced a ban on gas appliances and equipment I believe. (It only applies to new stuff I think.)
