I've seen these before, but never gotten to actually try one. I'm interested how it will stack up to the other competitor's like Freddy's, Culver's, etc:

We got one in my town in 2021. I like it, and the app is really worthwhile.

Didn't they have a presence here in South Alabama back in the 70s? Most of these locations closed. Ward's of Hattiesburg tried a few of them but they also failed as well.

One of which I'm told was the Subway on Old Shell Road near South. Started as a Jack's but was a Ward's after Jack's closed.

Jack's isn't bad - I'd say better than most. I've only been to Culver's once time (they're fairly new to this area) and wasn't really impressed. Jack's burgers are decent and they have good milkshakes.

I don't think so. From my understanding, Jack's was pretty much confined to the Bham area until fairly recently when they started expanding. You may be thinking of Jack in the Box which has a pretty similar logo.

Wish they would’ve started in the city first before heading to the suburbs, I miss Jack’s, my favorite fast food burger joint

They had locations for sure in the Panama City area until the early to mid 80s, so they had a wave of expansion down here that clearly failed and now is happening again under different owners.

Jack’s made inroads into my town last year, but I never see many vehicles there. We have too many fast-food places already.
