Ah yes, the reservoirs in SW Missouri are hard at work after the heavy rains in the surrounding region. This looks to be an active spring in terms of storms according to a meteorologist in the KC metro area.

Mix some clean, cool water slowly rising from underground conduits, with all the various minerals that the water has dissolved on its travels, mainly limestone [Calcium and Magnesium, some Iron and Manganese too], and ya get that special colour. And, to all - some excellent photos!
