UT is going to go do what A&M has been doing - stand in the shadow of Alabama.

Even after A&M beat Alabama....they still get no respect from the SEC. That is Alabama's conference and always will be.

Also, WAY tougher teams in the SEC than Big 12. UT is going to have to work for a bowl bid from here on out. Oh no!

...have fun.

Shoe, great architecture on these revamped facilities. It seems like that part of the Tech campus might seem a bit tight, but I think that the powers that be can make it all work.

Tech's new facilities are sure to excite Tech players, present and (definitely) future. It will be fun to watch them go up.

Taken this morning from 50-100 yards north of the future construction site (east side of the Jones):

Glad we clarified that.

Next season, that construction zone on campus is going to be pretty tricky.

Could be, but they could put in temporary covered walkways if necessary (just guessing). Lee Lewis Construction is very experienced, having done the west side of the stadium, a Disney project, Buddy Holly Hall, the Citizens Tower overhaul, and others. All mentioned were very complicated, or at least seemed like it at the time.

^A statue of the Masked Rider was lifted out of the building that is about to be bulldozed.

Edit: this is how it currently looks (sorta):
