I am thinking of switching to either of these providers. What are the pros and cons for each provider. T Mobile Home Internet is a joke. Too many lag connections.

Century Link would be slower than what you would get in Laos.

CenturyLink and Quantum are the same company. CenturyLink uses the two names interchangeably.

Don't confuse CenturyLink fiber with CenturyLink DSL!!!

My first choice would be CenturyLink/Quantum fiber.
This is *by far* the best choice in Las Vegas for the time being.
CenturyLink/Quantum fiber is only available at about 10% of the homes in Las Vegas.
Speeds are 940 mbps down and 940 mbps up.
No data cap.
Costs around $70 per month.
Get it if you can.

Distant 2nd choice would be Cox fiber.
Speeds are 940 mbps down and 940 mbps up.
Has data caps and is very expensive.
Cox fiber is only available at about 1% of the homes in Las Vegas.

3rd and last choice would be Cox cablemodem.
It's available at every home in Las Vegas.
Data caps and very expensive.
Very slow upload speeds.

You should avoid Centurylink DSL, T-Mobile Home Internet, Starlink.

Google has been talking about offering Google Fiber in Las Vegas at some point, but don't hold your breath. Based on timelines from other cities, we're probably looking at about 10 years from now.
