prostitution is not legal in most of the state, therefore the state does not get millions of $$$$ from it.

Mining brings in revenue...a lot more than the brothels. I like Nevada, but Vegas has always attracted an underclass. Better gambling on my smartfone. Better food in the freezer section of Costco. BTW, you can get the ge compatible refrigerator water filters for 20 bucks a three pack on Amazon. I get quite a few compliments on the taste...also helps if you know how to run a dishwasher. Oh, and I met a three dollar per hour beer promotion lady in Thailand, who is a lot prettier than Taylor Swift.

I have been reading and watching the news about vegas as far as prices [ cost of living] and crime and it makes me feel like I missed the boat. However if I get the job I plan in going there and wanted to know some good areas between 1300-1600 in vegas/henderson? For background purposes I am original frm Virginia beach but I have lived in CT MN FL and KS. I for fun I love sports concerts trying new food, and I'm trying to be more active and started going back to the gym. Any recommendations on living there would be helpful!!
Its hard to find good people in Vegas, so I hope you have some family and friends to help your move out.

I would say live in Summerlin or Henderson, the better areas in Vegas. Green Valley Ranch is excellent.
