I can not for the life of me find the thread where this was discussed when it happened, but it looks like this cop has a real issue with Pit Bulls. He shot 2 in less than 2 months.

I guess it all depends on which story the jury believes. I generally side with law enforcement, but his story seems pretty fishy.

My friend was on this Grand Jury. I trust that the right decision was made and the media, as those of us that have served on juries know, does not always tell the whole truth without prejudice. I remember the murder trial I was a juror on, it was interesting (and a little bit disturbing) after the trial was over to read the newspapers my husband had saved. What was reported was not how the 12 of us saw things.

Generally if a grand jury doesnt bring charges, the charges are without merit. Passing the grand jury step is one of the easiest hurdles for the prosecution.
