They are too lazy to fix their own countries and our government is encouraging them to come here instead.
The poor Venezuelans voted for the Chavez/Maduro socialism, and now that it is a total failure they are trying to cheat their way into the big bad land of the “rich gringosâ€.
Kick them all out and let them fix their own country.

But we made their country poor and impoverished they are just getting back at us. Unfortunately it really only has a negative impact on poor American citizens

I think they are being promised all kinds of "assistance" and goodies if they will just make it here. But assistance does not mean it's permanent support. It can't be. As a country we can't afford that kind of support on a permanent basis. We already have a burgeoning welfare class. What is our government thinking?
The truth is we are not going to be able to provide all of these things they are being promised indefinitely. Some are already making "demands" because things have not met with their expectations.
What happens when the "freebies" run out? We are a broke country. Some states are calling on residents to step up and house these people. Really? Um, how about NO.
Many Americans who were born here and worked all their lives are struggling to continue to make it. Do these people think we have what we have because it was just handed to us because we were born on this soil? They're delusional in my opinion. And so is our government.
"It's just obvious you can't have free immigration and a welfare state,"
From a 2007 article:
Quote:
The transfer state redistributes funds from those with high-skill and high-income levels to those with lower skill levels. Low-skill immigrants become natural recipients in this process. On average, low-skill immigrant families receive $30,160 per year in government benefits and services while paying $10,573 in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of $19,587 that has to be paid by higher-income taxpayers.
