I was thinking about the overall affect this new batch of Illegals will have on our economy. They have been using the 10 million # for so long its probably really 15 million. So we have an additional 15 million people to feed so grocery stores, transportation stocks should go up? It will definitely have an affect on entry level housing, so that won't be getting any less expensive for poor Americans, but as an investment low income housing should be great!
What else? Good, bad or indifferent?

It negatively affects schools as teachers have to spend their time working with kids who can't speak English. Even worse, there are anchor babies who come to school not knowing a word of English and the Spanish they know is atrocious. These kids start school and don't even know colors. For example, they can't tell red from blue. Thus educating them becomes a real burden on the taxpayers and American kids and legal immigrants who come to school prepared to learn, are losing out when it comes to getting a good education.

As for investing in low income housing, count me out. Many that rent houses and low income apartments will tell the landlord that only their family will live there. Then the person who signs the lease, never lives there and instead rents out bedrooms to several families. The person who signs the lease makes a profit after s/he pays the rent. If the landlord is an absentee landlord, they often don't know what is happening to their property. These so-called "migrants" have already shown us how they trash hotel rooms. I wouldn't trust any of them if I owned a rental property.

There is nothing good about their presence in this country.

The illegal aliens entering the country aren't the one who are taking executive positions, they are taking the entry level jobs, and are on the lower end of the economic scale. These are not the people who are contributing more to the system than they are sucking from it.

As much as people want to say these illegal aliens are benefiting our society, in reality these illegals are an economic drain on our society, weakening it and sucking the rest of down with the burdens they have placed on the system created to protect the people on the lower end of the economic scale.

Crime will increase.

Precious school dollars will have to be shifted to ESL classes, depriving citizen children of funding for programs that benefit them. School test scores will crater in places where there are a lot of illegals/migrants/refugees.

Housing values will decline in neighborhoods where large amounts of illegals congregate. Especially when they come from nations that don't value home ownership nor keep their surroundings neat & clean.

Increase in social strife with lack of trust between groups of different cultures and norms.

Lower end job wages will stagnate, financially harming entry level US workers.

Auto insurance rates will increase with large amounts of uninsured drivers on the roads. Illegals won't often stop when they cause a fender bender.

The number of foreign gangs and gang members will increase. Many recent arrivals of the illegal persuasion will become involved in more illegal activities like drug dealing and shoplifting. The US already has a sizable criminal population. No need to import more law breakers.

Migrants are now starting to bankrupt cities with their increase demand for social services. Funds spent on migrants will infuriate locals, especially those on the lower end of the social spectrum. That money could be spent to help citizens who need assistance. Instead, it is going to people who shouldn't be here in the first place.

It's a huge kick in the teeth to those who are trying to immigrate legally and are doing the process by the books. There should be not 1 benefit given to those choosing to ignore the law and jump ahead in the line.

Migrants are putting billions of dollars in the pockets of the cartels and those people that gain financially through human trafficing and human smuggling.

Not only are the illegals a financial drain on society. They also add to the deteriorating quality of life for Americans. If you don't believe that to be true, watch how many citizens come out to protest any time a mayor announces that a migrant shelter will be opening in a neighborhood. Nobody wants to live near them. There is no benefit for anyone except the illegals.

Oh but the pro-illegals claim it's all worth it to fill a so-called labor shortage. We desperately need more leaf blowers, dishwashers, burger flippers, etc.

That's only because we retired with our huge 401k's and helped to create the labor shortage.

Bill Clinton had it correct, but he couldn't be elected dog catcher today by the modern leftist Democrat party. Heck just listen to him explain we need to crack down on illegal aliens;

Sure, but what will they DO with their anger? As long as they can get free abortions they will keep voting for the ones bringing the illegals into their communities.

What else? Good, bad or indifferent?
Good: Nothing, absolutely, positively nothing, other than for the census in the liberal dives in our country and for their move toward one party state!

Bad: That public housing is paid for by taxpayers! We, the taxpayers, pay for emergency medical care which includes delivering and paying to raise their 5 or 6 kids (recently a popular X Venezuelan encouraged others to "come have a baby and they'll send you a check every month), most won't earn enough, if they bother to work at all to be paying taxes, especially since dropping the 5 or 6 kids and living with multiple families per a single home dwelling, and they'll get the child tax credits in addition to the other benefits the kids bring in, most drive "beaters" (but if they have enough kids they do much better in the vehicle department) without a license and auto insurance, charities services to include food pantries will be drained by them, we'll be dealing with measles, TB, malaria, etc. brought in by them, incarceration rates will increase costing taxpayers more money (while taxpayers miss work and pay for medical care), and then last but not certainly least (oh, here is your bump in economics) those that deal with death should get an economic "bump" as the ones that drink and drive, are drug mules, simply murder because that is what they did in their mother country should do well in feeding that economic sector.

For best results for the economy, vote Trump 2024 and send these people back to their home, where they are indeed "documented"!
