I wonder what he told the Border Patrol to make a asylum claim and why wasn't his claim verified before allowing him into our country? A court date of 2027 and then released into our country to roam around for 3 years? How are these asylum claimants finding work and are they even authorized to work here? Our government has gone mad!
My understanding is that Asylum claimants do get work authorization while they are waiting.

So they are taking jobs from Americans just like illegal aliens are. What about their social costs? I'm sure whatever jobs they are working doesn't begin to cover it. The biggest problem is that most of these asylum claimants are making bogus claims.

These "asylum seekers" are illegal aliens who have been given parole. Parole is reserved for criminals. Thus asylum seekers are criminals.

An undocumented immigrant being arrested for a heinous crime is a story we hear all too often in South Florida. Over the weekend Palm Beach County deputies arrested 26-year-old Heber Amador Guerrero.
He's accused of sexually assaulting, beating, and strangling a pregnant teen. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, he was ordered to be deported in 2017 but was still living here in our area.

A Colombian national who has been apprehended by ICE in Massachusetts this week was released into the U.S. last year despite being wanted in his home country for aggravated homicide. The 49-year-old national was arrested in Colombia in 2014 and charged with aggravated homicide, aggravated theft, and possession of a weapon, leading to a conviction and a 17-year prison sentence in 2016. However, he entered the U.S. illegally near San Luis, Arizona in November 2023 and was issued a notice to appear before an immigration judge, subsequently being released on his own recognizance.
Columbia didn't want him so they cut him loose if he left the country?

Why aren't these people vetted before being released into our country with a court date? Why aren't they deported immediately instead after it is discovered that they entered our country illegally, no ifs, buts, or maybes?

Just stumbled upon this.
UPDATE: ICE was aware of Vargas’ murder conviction in Colombia and still released him due to “national bed space shortage caused by southwest border surge…” In a statement ICE confirms Vargas was “erroneously” released from custody.
David Antonio Calderon, who police say is in the United States illegally from El Salvador, is also accused of maliciously wounding two homeless individuals last month in Jefferson County, West Virginia.
On the evening of May 6, firefighters discovered a woman’s body after extinguishing a couch that was on fire on Golf Course Road in Martinsburg, according to a media release from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
Murdered a woman and beat two homeless individuals.
"According to the release, Calderon entered the United States illegally from El Salvador. In March of 2023, he was stopped at the New York/Canada border trying to seek Canadian asylum, but he was denied and turned over to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. He was then released from border patrol custody and given a notice to appear in federal court in Virginia on May 8, according to court records."
