Following what took place above, Congressional House Rep. Tom Tiffany got wind of this and paid a visit.
The Congressman was way too nice IMO but said hearings on this will be taking place. Video is at the Tweet.
After @JamesOKeefeIII exposed that the Casa Alitas Ramada Hotel in Tucson was housing illegals, I made a stop to see how American taxpayer dollars are being spent.
These NGOs aiding illegals are receiving federal dollars, and it’s Congress’ duty to provided oversight.
We were DENIED access, given NO information, and they called the sheriff.
This needs investigating ASAP, and Congress must hold public hearings with these groups testifying to give the American people transparency on how their tax dollars are being spent.
I was just in Tucson. My wife and I stayed not far from the Tucson Convention center (we were in Tuscon to see the gem show.)
Anyway, we went to a Burger King up the street from our hotel one evening. The place was empty except for five men seated a table sipping on soda and chatting in what I guess was an African dialect.
Now, there has been a record number of people entering the US through the Az border and my guess is these men recently arrived. My wife who isn't a US citizen, but a legal resident (green card) asked where they find work.
I explained in the Phx metro there is a large underground economy and it's probably the same in Tucson. These men likely find work as day laborers and paid in cash. As the owner of rental property, I often hire small companies and the owners are legit. However, I suspect some of those doing the work might not be. Why? Because many of the workers can't speak much more than thank you and "No English."
I moved to a foreign country when I was 24 and didn’t speak a word of the language. The first words I learned in Japanese were thank you and thank you very much. I also learned good morning (“Ohio” like the state) Then “Sorry. No Japanese.” Often such workers remind me of myself although I entered the country legally. And a good thing too l because the Japanese don’t f-around. https://www.city-data.com/forum/66083630-post117.html
I cannot say that I am shocked that Catholic Community Services is behind this.
Somehow, we need to figure out how to get the low-IQ, mouth-breathing Democrat politicians -- and the low-IQ, mouth-breathing people that vote Democrat -- to understand that you cannot just up the door to a flood of third-world trash. It's never going to end well.
If the CCS group was so interested in helping, maybe they should redirect their efforts to south of the border. The last thing we need is millions of unvaccinated, uneducated, illiterate third-world people in our country.
This started under Obama and the federal funding has ramped up ever since. Both the Catholic and Baptist churches feed from the trough, and what’s left is distributed to various do-gooder nonprofits who take their cut. Tucson’s corrupt mayor cut her own deal that rakes in over a $100M a year to facilitate (and hide) the flows of border jumpers.
Do any of these looters want to see their gravy train end? Hell no, they are livin’ large…and doing God’s work.

I've started watching this kid and I think he was down in Tucson with O'Keefe - I love that he actually talks to the migrants to get the real scoop. There is no left or right bias when talking to actually illegals.
