NO......they shouldn't.

As has already been pointed out on this thread, norovirus has NOTHING to do with illegal immigration

Yeah...if it were true....since it's not....it would hardly be good reporting.

It it is airborne, it can also get into your car heater/ac, so that needs to be flushed as well......
Its not airborne and its not bacteria.

Its a virus and transmission is person to person

Eh...I don't know. Sometimes after eating the Bean burrito+Enchilada+Chile Relleno special at my favorite Mexican restaurant, I sometimes get a little queasy.

Coincidence?

Illegal immigration may be leading to an increase in cases of things like TB & other diseases prevented by immunization which is less common in 3rd world countries.

They have closed a hospital in Durham and schools in Hyde County (northeastern NC). This thing is spreading....the schools have called and warned parents. My son attends Apex High school and says there are least 4 or 5 students sick with the virus in all of his classes...unfortuntely this includes one of his closest friends...fingers are crossed he didn't catch it too.

Default yuko!!

Our 16 month old got here in central FL ... vomited for 6 days straight. Had to go to the docs 4 times ... we are so thankful the rest of the family didn't get it. It was pretty bad ...

Met some people at the park who said their children had it and it lasted 10 days!! Before this I thought stomach "bugs" lasted only 2 days!!

Nasty little booger!

That's exactly what I thought. I had always heard of the famous 24 hour virus. Comes and goes and that's it. I thought it was a little much when people were staying out of work for a week and was a little wary. Until of course it hit home and I thought it would never go away!

We have been lucky (knock on wood!) with the stomach viruses but I've got 2 out of my 3 kids home with the flu. That's not much fun either. Their entire school has been hit hard with the flu, strep and stomach thing. LOTS of kids missing school. Wash your hands, germx and lysol everything and stay healthy!

We had a mix of the throwing up and the other end issues. My teen son had both and my husband and I and my other son had the other. I was down for 3 days without a doubt. I felt awful. I had a constant feeling of ICK in my body.. and then once its "over" its not.. it leaves you with the most outrageous amount of gas.. you could power a bicycle down the road. Sorry for the TMI but I have to warn for those that get it. My little baby girl is sweet but she was creating bombs to clear a room!
