I have the same problem with something biting me and there are many more of us than we know. I have contacted the cdc and the nioh but do not contact a doctor because we are all nuts. We are doing this to ourselves they say.
Take head we need top band together these things are so amll they sting bite whatever you call it. I have had it for almost 2n years now and i do not know what to think.

They are very small you to use a lighted magnifier to see them. They are black and some are white. Something feels like sand and some are jelly like balls that are white.

The interesting thing is i had have friends that have worked on the sores and they have on occassion brought out a live larva everything else is dead.
I have 2 neices who are chemist with biology degrees and they can not figure it out.
If anyone wants to talk call

This exact thing is happening to me:

I am getting bitten all night long, my husband either doesn't have a reaction to getting bitten or isn't getting bitten.
I do see somewhat of a 'pattern' of bites in a row in some areas like my back but they are spread apart quite a bit and the area that swells up is very large with the small bite in it, they are not symmetrical shapes like perfect circles they have uneven shapes which i think is the skin reacting to the 'saliva' of whatever is biting me. But most bites are VERY afar apart and if i scratch the area what i think is 'close to the moment I got bitten' the area i scratched becomes welted and swollen! so i have 'scratch-mark shaped' welt!
My problem is that I just had a baby and I am breastfeeding so i don't think I can take benadryl (they don't know the effects it can have on an infant that young through breast milk) nd i just saw a bite on him yesterday!

I thought it was spiders becuase I live in chicago very close to the lake and in the summer spiders are EVERYWHERE and when we have cleaned the room and changed the sheets we have found a spider (just one that actually bounced on to the bed I think it as in the curtains). I just woe up to feed my baby and noticed I was itchy again, either the bites 'flare up' again at night or I am getting bitten again and I am looking everywhere in my bed and don't see anything except regular 'dust/skin particles'. I really thought it was spiders but i would be able to see them (i think). Does anyone know of vitamins or things you can ingest that will make the bugs steer away from you? Can a regular doctor look at the bits and tell you what they are or do you have to go to a specialist? how do you find out these things for sure? I am getting desperate...

PS I do have 2 dogs that sleep in my room, they haven;t been scratching or displaying any signs of fleas at all and they rarely go out except for short walks. I am gong to attack them tomorrow (I washed their beds today) and see if by bathing them and using flea meds my symptoms go away. this is just a lot of work with a 10 week old in my care...!

HELP!!!!

Most bites in a line pattern are bedbugs.
Hopefully, you are 'seeing' a pattern that isn't there.
Look for images on Google.Type in bedbug and you'll find more information than you ever wanted.
Try not to bend to fit everything but also don't pass it off.
A small infestation is one whole hellova lot easier to deal with than a big one.

I want to say Bedbugs, they are sometimes very tricky to find.

What I would advise is, if you do not have PERFECTLY WHITE SHEETS/PILLOWCASE.....GET SOME. If you are getting bit by Bedbugs you will see small, black/very dark purple stains on your sheets/pillowcase......this is the blood that the BB excretes after sucking it out of you.

It feels like someone just pricked me with a needle. Its crazy, and no one else seems to feel anything but me. That's when my legs were completely bare, but the times when I had on jeans, even then eventually I'd feel some pinch on my leg. What the heck is that?

I had an OMG moment too, because I experience the same thing when sitting at my pc and other spots. This also happens when I go to the beach. I'm sure at the beach it's the sand mites. Also, no one else that visits me seems to experience this. It's true that these little pest are more attracted to some people more so than others.

I've pretty much solved my problem around the home by mixing up concoctions of Lavendar, lemon, and or orange essential oils and spraying around the areas and on my body. Has been working for me so far, as long as I remember to reaply throughout the day. Sometimes, if I don't have the oils available, I'll just rub some garlic, clove or other strong spice on myself as temporary repellant.

don't they have dogs trained to sniff out bed bugs??? Did you find out about that and call an exterminator???, maybe it's dust mites. They say to vacuum your mattress at least once a week.

I used a lent roller on my bed and there were a couple of tiny tiny tiny microscopic red things on the lent roller after i rolled it over my bed. im not sure if it were a bug because it was so small (TINY). i am positive that i am getting bitten while i am sleeping and these bites are itching like crazy. Also, i would like to add that these bites are not welts or big bumps, they are small and red and it looks like something penetrated the skin like a hole. at first i was thinking it couldve been a red velvet mite- but then learned that these mites do not bite. and bed bugs look too big compared to what i saw on the lent roller...

I am having a similiar problem...Mostly when I sit at the computer and it was happening when I went to bed, but I've managed to keep most of them out of my bed. I take a shower with T-sal the kind that has menthol..I use it on hair and body and then before I go to bed I put baby oil all over my body. I also put vicks in a empty bar soap container and put between my sheets. They dont like the smell. I know it sounds extreme, but to get a good nights sleep that what I do. These have got to be mites or fleas of some kind. I'm getting attacked bad right now. It's 0334am and I had to get up and spray Lysol all over where I sleep and on myself just to have a moment to myself. I am being bit from head to toe and it feels like flea bites. I will put off! On here in a sec to maybe get this infestation to leave me alone.

I have washed my sheets, vacuumed my mattress and surrounding area, bug bombed the house, stayed at a friends and turned off the heat so the house temp would get into the 20s at night, I've sprayed pronto plus all over the mattress and floor around the bad, shampooed with lice shampoo...soaked my head in listerine for an hour, and on another day oil for the whole night with a shower cap while I slept. To no avail of getting rid of this. I never see anything, no eggs, no bug, no feces. I have had pest control company come and take a look. Its not bed bugs or fleas or lice they say. Doc says its not scabbies. SO WHAT IS IT!!!

I'm reading that alcohol as direct contact kills mites, tea tree oil in shampoo, maybe off! and get a prescription lotion from doctor that kills mites. There may be an oral medication as well. Sigh. I've scrubbed my house top to bottom. I am at my wits end.
