OP, the answer "will this change in BP medication reduce my BP too low?" can only be answered by YOU, by measuring YOUR blood pressure. Go get an Omron machine and track your BP. Write down the data, also log the date and time.

Yes, me too. Everyone our age is on about 5 different drugs. Trying to avoid as much as I can. Neither of us is on any meds except DH has to take thyroid for $3 a month.

But by some measures, we "should" both be on several drugs. We'll see, I guess.

With help of Doc to make sure

Do NOT get a wrist home BP monitor. Very inaccurate

Whatever monitor anyone has, take with you on Dr's visits to calibrate and make sure they are accurate

That's so common there is even a word to describe it.
The word is "polypharmacy". Polypharmacy is the concurrent use of multiple medications.

If your blood pressure is at or close to normal range additional meds seem like a really bad idea to me. Tell your doctor you are not against taking meds but only choose to do so if there is a fairly compelling reason.

The Metoprolol didn’t work at all by itself but adding in the 5 mg of Lisinopril brought it from 160/90 to around 135/85 and now lower since eating low carb. When I am stressed though especially at the dr it can go up to 150/90.
Are you saying that low carbs made it better or worse?

Off topic, once I stopped being iron anemic, mine got better
