It's in both...but more in my left and it can be achy to a little bit of an electrical-tingling pain. I can feel it a tad If I press on my elbow/arm connecting to it. I can really feel it If I rest it on my leg sitting. Occasionally I can feel tingling very dull pain going down my arms to my hands. Almost a bit of a touching an electric socket feeling. Actually overall my elbow pain is more of touching an electric socket tingling.
My guess is pinched nerves or perhaps overuse of your arms for some repetitive motion such as something work related or recreational related.
It could be a nerve thing or maybe some inflammation. Sometimes resting your arm on stuff or even just certain movements can set off those tingles. Ice and some gentle stretches might help ease it up a bit.
I had some ulnar nerve pain a month ago. I realized it was because I rest my elbows on the desk when I'm reading things or watching streamed stuff on the internet. It eventually caused some minor damage.
The treatment: stop resting my elbows on the desk, and either keep my arms in my lap, or lay my forearms down completely on my keyboard cushion, which keeps my elbows from touching anything at all.
A month later, and it's fine again. But I'm now in the habit of /not/ resting my elbows on the desk, which will serve as a preventative for another injury.
I have frozen shoulder. Got it after a COVID shot, felt they jabbed too high. Elbow pain might be arthritic joints? I have some elbow pain especially after exercise. I still exercise but just rest if I can see I need to recover. Was told I had spine degeneration after a spasm- never came back, oddly but was debilitating at the time. Now my back doesn’t hurt but occasional inflammation in a hip, clavicle, elbows now.
You should ask a doctor. Might need physical therapy and or x ray.
