I had Covid a while ago (2022). It sucked, but I was never scared really. It was one of the worst colds I've had, but not *the* worst actually. It took longer than a normal cold though. It took about two and a half weeks to get halfway back to OK and probably 3-4 weeks to get fully back to normal. I had lost sense of smell and that came back quicker. I wanna say I had it back after 10 ish days.
There's nothing enjoyable about being sick, but it's just part of life. In OP's circumstances I would not waste a minute thinking of Covid as a major potentially life threatening health issue in 2024.
7th day of symptom here. Lost like 80% smell. I am feeling better tho. No fever. Just some nasal congestion.
Listen up. When I had Covid, I felt too sick to be on the internet. I had enough life survival skills to get tested, get Paxlovid, then lay in bed delirious until I felt better & could get out of bed & take a bath & brush my teeth. If you can be on the internet & be lucid, what does that mean?

I cannot take Paxlovid as it has severe interaction with my other medications.
Were you also up to date on all your vaccinations?
