I think any of those procedures or surgeries can cause PDS. I have and IBD and sometimes have that, with no warning, I have no idea where it came from. Make sure you are totally empty and in a couple hours if you feel gurgling or such, go back to the bathroom. What surgery did you have? Did you talk to your Gastro dr about it?

I will give a recmendation,I was in hospital for period of time and told hospital I could not pass urine laying on my back so they placed a catheter in penis and urine bag which when I was discharged they removed catheter and I had occasional urine leakage,nasty,by accident found solution quickly,adult diaper very convient and sanitary will work with feces and no mess to bottom of butt,if accident occurs wherever you simply sit on toilet and remove by cutting diaper loose at each hoie,knot it and dispose of it in rubbish in plastic bag,sounds gross but isn't waste drops in diaper below butt.
I did have one accident after getting home,the urine problem is almost over with,the diaper is comfortabee.
I am 91. Adult diapers can be purchased at Walmart.My size is large 33-44.Iwas very wary,I have been wearing it now for several months.
