In addition, while waiting for your appointment you could take a few at home tests you could buy to determine if there is blood in your stool.
It may be helpful to a doctor

Thanks everyone for being encouraging and trying to keep me from going too negative. It’s just so hard to not be frightened. The bleeding happened again this morning, right after a bowel movement. I thought I was feeling cramps like I used to get on the first day of my period, only not quite as strong, but maybe that’s just my mind playing with me. I don’t typically feel gassy, but today I was feeling like I had to burp all day, and I wasn’t hungry til 2 pm (which isn’t like me). I kept wondering whether it was ovarian cancer. I tried my best to just play video games, watch football and sitcoms, and do some homework for a class I’m taking, but the weekend leaves lots of time to let your mind wander.

I’m hoping it’s nothing serious but that appointment can’t come soon enough for me.

I had some bleeding & it was an ovarian cyst. So they took out that ovary. No big deal, they went in through my belly button, & it was done in an afternoon, & I was sent home the same day.

You are very worried, so your body will react.....that is probably why you feel gassy, and having to burp.

I hope you’re both right. I’m a big girl, with a big appetite, and the last couple of days I have felt very uninterested in food. Plus, after I eat, I feel so full, even hours later, and I feel all burpy. I’m now worried about ovarian cancer, which is usually already advanced before it’s caught. So much for not worrying today .

I can’t tell if I’m bloated because I’m already fat. I don’t have abdominal pain. I’ve just got to stop this. And if the diagnosis is bad, then I’ll deal with it then.

When is your appointment? Maybe call your doctor, and tell them you are not feeling well, maybe get you in sooner.

It’s in two weeks. I will call and see if they can get me in sooner. I did request that on their app but I question whether assistants even look at that.

IME, if you need something specific and timely from a medical practice, call them and deal directly with a real person in real time. Who knows where some app attendant is even located?

When you talk to a real person, ask if you can be placed on a waiting list. That way when someone cancels, the next person on the list fills that spot. If someone cancels in a day or two, you could get right in that way.
