Greetings:
64YO in great shape, workout 5x/week, only issues Ive had in past were minor--shoulder impingement (I use lighter weights now) and Raynaud's syndrome. Nothing serious.
My right leg has been less flexible than the left one for awhile now (cannot stretch grabbing my ankle from behind and lifting to touch my right buttock...too much pain).
Last night, could not get back to bed. Both legs--specifically the inside and back areas of both knees--and my right elbow were stiff and/or had some pain when I moved....this morning, took a lot of effort to get up from a seated position and when I walk, slowly, feels as though my muscles have contracted.
Sounds like arthritis, though we have been having chillier, windier and cloudier weather than usual in Miami the past month or so. First time my body has acted up like this.
Give it a day and see how I feel OR pick up the phone today and move up the rheumatologist appointment?

Weather might affect arthritis, but its still just arthritis. You sound like you're hoping its "just the weather" but no, its just being 64 and having the right combination of genes and lifestyle.
Assuming that its osteoarthritis, that is.
