I have an older brother that still smokes, and he is the only person I know that does. Around here we don't even see anyone smoking except in Seattle where there are many of the homeless smoking. The only time I see smokers usually is when stopping at any gas station store for a snack or drink, there is always someone there buying cigarettes. At $12/pack now here that has to be a good profit item for them. I was shocked to see the prices with a big SALE at $9.95. Even that with our sales tax works out to 55 cents apiece for a little bit of tobacco wrapped in paper. A pack a day would be expensive now, over $300/month.
