I have a persistent dull ache in my stomach and I think it has to be a side effect from the Meloxicam I took.

I stopped taking it 2 days ago and its still there.

I was taking it for 11 days until I stopped

Maybe ask the doctor who prescribed the meloxicam.

A few days to even a few weeks, but consult your doc right away, could be a sign of liver damage or bleeding in the GI tract.

I had a bad stomach problem after taking prescription naproxen (switched because meloxican hurt my stomach a LOT). It was my fault as I took it without food.

I didn't want to go to the doctor, so I took two prilosec a day for 3 or 4 weeks, and that made it stop.

My pain was more than an ache though.

Sometimes what causes stomach pain can be surprising. For me, vitamin C is a big problem.

NSAIDS can cause ulcers and holes in stomach/intestine.

I took the prilosec to help it heal.

Good move. It's smart not to get addicted to omeprazole.
