I recently had a Crohn's flare, and came across the low FODMAP diet. Sounded like it might help, so I tried it.

The flare cleared within a few days. No more gut pain, diarrhea, mouth sores. Wowza.

I had been eating foods recommended for Crohn's; white bread, yogurt, applesauce. Turns out, those are all high FODMAP, and were probably making things worse.

There are plenty of low FODMAP foods you CAN eat, and it would be easy to combine with preferred eating plans like vegan, low carb, low fat, etc.

So if you're having gut issues, check it out. We're all different, so it may help you/may not.
