Kinda crazy that we are still talking about the Rona in 2023.

It's been 3 years since we were first told by politicians not to avoid Chinese New Year celebrations because of Covid, which originated in China. By now, don't we know that we should treat it like any other flu? That is, stay home if you are symptomatic or have immune system issues.

I'm not. I wear a 3M Aura at work or while shopping. I haven't eaten inside a restaurant since March 2020. A 1/10 chance of long COVID is not worth it to me, I've had friends who have by now had multiple COVID infections, and I do not want to risk any long term complications. Even if COVID magically disappeared I'd probably wear a mask from Nov 1 - Mar 1 every year and any time I got on a plane. Getting sick sucks and it's pretty cool to go 3 years without getting sick at all.

Duped into primary/secondary vaccination 'indoctrination' only.

Family and friends are booster cultists; double, triple, quadruple.

And we have *all* gotten Covid.

The jabs do nothing except line the pockets of pharms and signal compliance with the fake narrative.
Are you such an authority because of your medical background? C'mon share it with us. If you have any.

Frankly, a heck of a lot of us are tired of people who really know next to nothing about science or medicine coming on here and claiming there is something phony about vaccination.

Thanks, I take my advice from experts and you obviously are not one.

And Millions of us will take our advice from the experts that believe there are problems with the vaccines.

There is a lingering fear that will take years to fade away. Some (like me) will mask for life. I still see lots of people with masks. Restaurants aren’t as packer as they once were, movie theaters are shutting down, people are teleworking and no longer in the office. Public transportation is a shell of its former self.

These are all things that subconsciously keep the thoughts of COVID around.

Yes. I’m still masking. Haven’t ever had COVID or even a cold since the start of the pandemic.

Whereas I never masked and also haven't ever had COVID or even a cold since the start of the pandemic.

Correlation is not causation.

And unless it's a well-fitted N95 or greater, your mask is useless against viruses; possibly even harmful...

I suspect most posters (still) on this thread are terrified of it.

I'm here because I was just randomly scrolling through "New Posts."

I prefer to live my life in a healthy manner with a good diet, proper exercise, low stress, reasonable precautions and a normal life style than to be in the chains of covid paranoia.
If you all are fine with what works for you carry on.

I wear masks only when obliged to; my GP is Vietnamese and is likely to make the requirement permanent, I suspect.

But China and Japan continue to require masking. My kids and grandkids are inJapan right now, for a ski holiday, and it is the first time the children have had to wear a mask routinely, except for the occasional time such as when getting a PCR test.

It seems to me that masking has not stopped the very rapid spread of Covid in China, but also in Japan.

My husband has still not knowingly had the virus, I will not be happy if he gets it the week before we are going overseas in May.

....oh, and not vaxxed or boosted, either.

So some people didn't get the memo about touch transmission not being a thing.

Simply wash your hands before you touch food or an orifice (mouth, nose, eyes).

That goes for any virus, including the common cold; you can't sanitize the world.

These reactions are extremely neurotic...
