When my mother-in-law had brain cancer it reached a stage where there wasn't anything left to do. No more chemo, radiation, or surgery. It was hard for her to accept that the only thing remaining was for the disease to run it's course. It was hard for all of us. The only thing left were measures to make her as comfortable as possible.
