The chest pain didn't start until about 5 days after I tripped & fell hard onto the ground. At first, when I fell, my left shoulder and arm was in quite some pain which has lessen in severity since it happened. I had my shoulder & arm checked out at Urgent Care, fortunately, nothing had broken.
But now, I've been having chest pain whenever I take deep a deep breath, laugh, sneeze, yawn. Could it be related to the fall? It's been happening the past few days.
The pain doesn’t seem to affect me much while laying down with a blanket propped against my chest for comfort.
My temperature has been normal, so no fever

I'm no doc and don't play one on TV, but my guess is that it might be a cracked rib. Even if it is, I suggest that you get it checked out further. Or maybe it's just a badly bruised area. Did you get X-Rays?

I agree with Chase863 it's probably bruised ribs, and the area around the ribs. If you want to be cautious, have your ribs x-rayed.
