Fabric is your enemy. Since you have a rash on your upper body, I'd concentrate on your bed first. Vacuum your mattress and put on an allergy mattress cover. Wash your pillows or replace them. Use allergy covers. Don't make your bed in the morning. Leave the top cover off for a while. Even if you never touch your comforter or spread at night, throw it in the dryer at least once a week.
Your old couch isn't helping. You should probably vacuum all heck our of it and use some sort of cover which can be washed.
