So, I have some dumb questions..
I have never been pregnant so I don't know how this is supposed to go along..anyways.
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a while now. I have taken a pt and it said negative. But, I have been super sensitive to smells lately, that has never been like that. Like maple syrup.. ugh.. I smelled it this morning and I puked. haha.. and some other smells that never bothered me before are making me feel sick. Along with being late, I have some other early signs of pregnancy.. but the tests all say negative. My mother in law said that she had regular periods the whole time she was pregnant.. and never had symptoms. My mom said she knew the second she was pregnant.. so I am worried. How many tests did you have that said negative when you actually were pregnant? Has anyone ever done blood pregnancy tests? Does the whole "smell" thing sound like is a symptom too? Sorry for the dumb questions, we have just been trying for a while and I would like to know if maybe we are on the right track this time. Thank you

Well how late are you? I ususally found out a couple of days passed my period,(but for my daughter I had to go to the doc) but you could be different in the amount of the hormone you put out as in not enough. Call the doc and go get a blood test, that will tell you for sure. Trust me I have 4 kids!!!! Good Luck!!!

About a week late.
I dunno.. I think I might be getting my hopes up too soon. With my luck, I got like stomach flu or something coming on.

Well being a guy I could not tell you the feeling. We did not know my wife was pregnant with our first child. We were on vacation in Cancun and having a good time it was when we got back that my wife had the feeling seems she was a month along. Needless to say our son probably will enjoy Deus XX when he gets older.

On the second child she knew from day one it seemed. The morning sickness was a big sign. All the over the counter tests said no so we went to the Dr who said yes. So my suggestions would be to take it easy and make an appt. if you think you are....

Good luck....

Well a week late is major!! Flu wouldnt do that, go to the doc and get a blood test, Or go get the new EPT early detection and you HAVE to do it early in the morning ,before you go for the first time, your hormones will be strongest then, if it is still a no, then either go to the doc or wait another week and see what happens.

I've been pregnant 4 times, 2 miscarriages and 2 now happy children. Every time I knew I was pregnant but only on 1 did the home pregnancy test show a positive. On the other three I had to go to the doctor to get a blood test. Even on #3 I was still 2 weeks late and it still showed a negative. Yep, go to the doctor.

Anyway, CONGRATS

Keep us posted. If you've only been preg for a few weeks, the home test might not pick up on the hormone levels. But eventually it would. Yes, go to the doctor, just to be sure. I hope you are not getting a virus!

I had a test that came out negative. But I had this feeling.
And I turned out to be right--the kid is now 23 years old.
I was indeed sensitive to smells and I basically had zero appetite for the first trimester.
Good luck with however things turn out.
