It sounds like congrats are in order!
I knew each time I was pregnant because I could not even smell my beloved Starbucks in the morning, never mind drink it.
With my third, my test were negative for 2 weeks after I suspected. Get to a doctor! And good luck!
I'm one of those moms who just knew from day one - with all four of my kids. I also know the exact date of ovulation. Weird, I know. The smells were different for me too, except for it was backwards. I normally can't stand the smell of maple but when I was pregnant, I LOVED it!! Same thing with gasoline. Anyway, I know it's hard to wait, especially with it being the holiday season. What a great gift for you if you are!! I'd get another home test. It's not uncommon to get false negatives in early pregnancy. Keep us updated!
I got positive pregnancy tests early on but try taking a test first thing in the morning. (Apparently, hormone levels are greater in the first morning urine.) I became very sensitive to smells with both my pregnancies. Also, major fatigue and really bad PMS cramps were early symptoms.
Best wishes and I hope you get a big fat positive for Christmas!!
With my first I knew pretty much immediately. My last one was such a shock, I took 5 tests and made the Dr repeat it twice to finally believe! Children are amazing!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!
When I suspected I was pregnant with my second child, I took a home test when I was two weeks late. It came back negative. Then I caught a cold, but I was too scared to take anything for it since the first trimester is always the most important in a child's development. I took a second home test a week after the first one, and then it came back positive. Of course, this was also 19 years ago (!) when the tests weren't nearly as precise and effective as they are now.
Good luck, and please keep us posted!!!
