Never heard of it, but I'll sure look to see if any theaters around here have it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Acoustic neuroma sounds rather scary but I was happy to read it's non-cancerous. As soon as they're back open I'll have it looked at.

Yes, that's what my doctor thought I might have had, since I matched the pattern, hence the MRI, etc. But I didn't have one.

I'm glad that you didn't have it. The sudden onset of this and the past history of ovarian cancer is a bit concerning.

I can certainly understand that! I'm hoping you don't have one either.

A year ago I started having tinnitus. Very unnerving. My dad had just passed away. It lasted 3 weeks, then stopped. I found out it can be caused by stress. No problems since.

Great link; thank you for posting it. Ibuprofen is definitely on the list of drugs, and stress is also mentioned.

Don't ask us, ask your ENT specialist.

Tinnitus has no know origin and no know cure and is just an annoyance.
Mine is usually just a high pitched whine or a buzzing in mostly the left ear. Occasionally I get the "Les Brown Sound" which is like the closing bars of a big band sound.
My thought is this is a combination of brain-to-aural-hair nerve interface issues, driven by brownian molecule movement.
"No fix, but no worry"
