Again, here in the drought-stricken southeast, we are only flushing when necessary. We have stage 3 water restrictions (stage 4 is strictest) and everyone is conserving wherever possible. "If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down." is metro Charlotte's current slogan. Luckily we have gotten some rain recently (over an inch yesterday) but we need much more.

Toilet = 2.5 gallons per flush
• Avoid flushing unless it’s absolutely necessary
• Repair leaky toilets, which can waste up to 200 gallons per day

Weird, I just saw this topic on another board as well... lots of people must be peeing in the shower, LOL.

I don't think it's gross. Pee is sterile, and it's all just going down the drain, along with all of the dead skin cells, fecal spores, outside dirt, etc that comes off of your body. No big deal.

I will add that if I had plumbing problems in the shower which caused me to stand in pee, then I'd feel differently... in my shower, all water and pee goes immediately down the drain, but once I did shower at a friends house where the water seemed to not go down fast enough, causing it to puddle about an inch high. Of course that would be gross, to pee in that! LOL
