interstim therapy (bladder, pain, nerve, medication)

Hi just found this forum and would like to ask if any one has had a sacral nerve stimulater inplanted and how long fior the pain to go I only have the test stimulater in one week for bowel control. Thanks

I don't know what happened to the original poster, but I have an Interstim procedure scheduled in the next month. It's in two parts.

I wonder if anyone else has done this. My urogynecologist says it could help with my 'weak bladder'. The medication was no longer helping, and I don't want to do Botox injections (the other alternative, twice a year).

Thoughts? Experience?
