I looked up Red Dragon, CSD610, and their prices are too high. I got a lot more for $35 from stricklyejuice than you will get from Red Dragon. The kiosk in my local mall wants $150 for the same kit I got for $35...talk about ripoffs!
As a heavy smoker I decided within days that a mini wasn't really the right equipment for me. I went out and bought a battery that lasts me about 13 hours.

Exactly. Most e-cig stores / kiosks in malls are charging an insane markup. An entire e-cig starter kit should not cost more than $60-$70 max (with all of the various extra accessories). Many can be obtained for closer to $50 (or even less for just the basics).
If you're paying $100 or more for an e-cig "starter kit" - you are getting ripped off.
I looked at a 510 kit for $80 that had all the bells & whistles. I liked the way it felt in my hand and in my mouth. I liked the way it tasted.
I looked at a different model (can't recall which) that was $20 for the starter kit. I hated it. It felt like sucking air through a straw.
I have a 510 model and that has worked well for me so far.
$80 is a bit high, but not by too much for everything (at least a pair of batteries and atomizers, some cartridges, a wall charger, usb charger and a PCC). You could maybe spend $10-$20 less buying from a reputable online company, but with shipping charges and time, the savings compared to buying the kit in person for $80 is not too terribly great.
It seems like a majority of people making the jump to e-cigs do so with a 510 as their starting point. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me
I'm thinking about getting one of these just so I can smoke at work. Drives me crazy to have to run down a flight of stairs and hot-box a cigarette during a break.
He said the way they helped him almost give up cigarettes completely is that instead of smoking a whole cigarette (so as not to waste it or just because it is already in your hand), you only take the puffs you need or want at any particular time making it easier to gradually cut down. I thought this made sense.

I have not looked at the Blu model but several people on the ECF forum are using them and seem to be happy with them. I agree with not having to smoke (or waste) a whole cigarette for a few puffs. What I like the most is being able to set the e-cig down anywhere and not worry about burning anything. I was never a careless smoker but I am enjoying the loss of "HOT".
My new juice is on the mail truck for delivery today...I am running low and will have to order more once I get to sample the flavors I bought this time.
