Does Lancaster County have many finance and tech economy and jobs that a large metropolitan area offers?

Or is geared it more towards local employment such as schools, local government, Giant Supermarket, etc?

Isn't Giant the largest supermarket chain in that region?

good question. lancaster has one of the best supermarket "ecosystems" I've seen. in addition to the many farmer's markets there are weis markets, stauffers, giant, and whole foods. lancaster city has three weis on its outskirts and one giant so I might guess weis as the dominant employer in that industry. lancaster is better known for producing/growing things than tech
