September 19th downtown off Reynaulda wiIl get a new Italian restaurant. Its the second restaurant for Carmine Farina Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria.
The new location will be called Carmine 901 located at 901 Reynaulda and everything on menu is $9.01 (according to article)

That sounds like a neat concept and a great use of that building, which is beautiful. Bob's (which was in that space before) should have been so much better than it was.

Winston's had a real Italian boom in the last year or so. We have enjoyed Quanto Basta and Di Lisio's, and look forward to visiting Carmine's 901 as well.

A major residential renovation is planned for the old Twin City Building in the heart of downtown at 400 W. Fourth Street. It will become luxury "for sale" condos. Demolition is set to begin before the end of the year.

Hmmm, I not too thrilled with the new library design. Perhaps, it will look better in reality than in rendering.
