Really hopeful this project comes to fruition. More on the "Factory Yards" project along Godfrey Ave. Several of these old factories along Godfrey have been quietly being bought up over the last couple of years. This area of town near the Black Hills neighborhood hasn't been really touched by gentrification or investment yet. This area of town has some of the coolest bones for redevelopment if done right. That area south of Downtown with all those big factories seems to be gaining steam. Will be really cool to see it 10 years from now if things keep progressing this way.

More news on the $150 million Factory Yards development. This is one of my favorite projects of the last decade. Right now in the warehouse district south of downtown there are more than $500 million in projects in the work to transform some pretty big, and under utilitized old factories. The injection of life they could add to the area would be beyond substantial.

Latest update: $103 million in tax credits going in front of the city commission. I think this project is important, especially considering how short the area is on housing.
