Hi Western MI Forum, I was very interested in some ole school locals from GR Metro, Beach Residents, Manistee that could share with me what type of critters, insects, and basic nonsense that is involved with living in a suburban rivertown with a wonderful beach in Western Michigan. Is there a tick problem like my beloved South Jersey? Should you spray yourself with Off before going down to the Coast Guard fishing area because all the flies and bugs are going to come at me when I'm trying to do my business cleaning my fish. Don't hold back local West Coast Counties in Michigan, what's up with bugs, insects, and how is it different than the New Jersey shore? Help! I want to transplant back to Michigan after 35 years and need to know the lay of the land.
