I’m not a Trump supporter, but I don’t see this any different from other families that have been involved in politics for generations. Look at the Kennedy, the Bush, etc.
I'm not a Trump supporter in the slightest, however, I do think the decent thing with politicians' kids is to not bring them into what their parent does as a politician.
However, if and when they choose to put themselves out there in the political world once they become adults (like Trump's other sons Don, Jr and Eric, and to a lesser degree his daughter Ivanka), I think that ends the obligation to stay neutral.
At this point, we don't fully know what he is about, other than who his daddy is, so I will withhold judgment until that time.
Can you imagine being 18 and being on the national stage like that?
Has anyone here been on a stage in front of lots of others as a Teen? I have, & the fight or flight instinct kicks in...raging adreneline that your mind struggles to keep in check.
Have any of you spoken in front of a large group of people at any age? I have, & it takes reps to get any good at it...& that's if you know your subject matter really well, & are not getting pelted w/ questions.
I'm hoping he was okay with it, & went along willingly, & was not pushed into it. I don't think his Mother would allow that, & she seems like a strong willed woman.
I've yet to hear Barron speak, but based off of his mannerisms, body language, & facial expressions, He appears to be introverted, but unafraid.
I hope this turns out well for Barron...I'm thinking only about an 18 year old young man being in such a highly visible spot. You know the media will not stay kind to him for long.
I'm sure the Trump's will shield him as much as possible for as long as possible. Barron's lived in a bubble, so he's used to being insulated.
I'm rooting for him to turn out like his older siblings, half Brothers & Sisters. They seem to be doing well in the limelight.
Admittedly, I've made a lot of inferences here, but I've always had a knack of reading people.
