I'm just starting back into working out after a nagging knee injury. I still can't walk far - around the block - or quickly. But I can hobble into the gym for strength training with very light weights for lower body. Physical therapy approved, of course. I'm still in physical therapy for another two weeks.

I'm taking advantage of all the seated or partially seated workouts on YouTube - yoga, cardio, and strength training. I do yoga and cardio daily, standing when I can and seated when I have to. It works for as long as it has to.

After many years of trying for I finally hit a 500lb back squat on Saturday at the ripe old age of 46.

Next goal is to hit over a 600lb deadlift again (that is my all time personal record set 15 years ago) and bench 300 again.

Skipped today as I was not feeling good yesterday. Got super nauseous last night but nothing happened. That's the worst feeling! Leaving on vacay on Wednesday so will get back to it tomorrow!

It's beyond flattering to be complimented numerous times on vacation. I always get asked if I compete. I probably just should do it but I love an Oreo here and there LOL. Plus, having women on all ages come up to me and tell me my body and arms are beautiful is really a reward for getting up at 3:30am!!
