I see these things all over eBay. Has anyone ever tried one? At the price and disclaimer I would guess they are pretty useless. Would love to hear any results from anyone that has tried one.

They don't exist yet. Apple will probably be the first but it is still a couple of years in the future.

Do you mean that ones that actually are accurate do not exist. If you go to eBay and type in the thread title several BG Smart Watches show up. Many in the $30-$50 range.

I feel the same way. I have a friend who thinks it would be a great cheap way instead of getting a Libre3 or similar CGM. I am doing my best to keep him from wasting the money.

I don’t think they work. Would love to have one that did work.

So, does anyone have any actual experience with one of these watches. Bought one and used it??

My lovely SO and I are both Type 2 diabetics with high blood pressure, etc. If they work, it would be great.

Many of the smart watches from Apple and Samsung provide BP levels and SpO2 percentages, but I'm not aware of any that can do glucose levels merely by skin contact and secretions.

See https://diabetesstrong.com/best-smar...for-diabetics/ where it says:

"Smartwatches cannot currently monitor blood glucose levels directly, but you can link external CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) systems to your smartwatch to get blood sugar readings on your watch.

Systems like Dexcom analyze the patient’s glucose level, then send the data to their watch (or smartphone). "
